Advisory Boards

The Planning Department Staff serve on, or as staff to, a variety of public, private, and citizen advisory boards.

Planning Advisory Board (PAB)
The Planning Department serves as staff to this Board. It is the Department's advisory board with regard to planning issues. Its main focus at present is the creation and adoption of a comprehensive plan for the entire county.

The Planning Advisory Board consists of the following members:

Council of Governments (COG)
The department also serves as staff to the Council of Governments. The COG is composed of the chief elected official for each municipality within the county. Its purpose is to promote the discussion of issues and topics of importance to the members.
