Culvert Replacement Project To Close Portion Of Edson Road, County Road 16 Town Of Windsor

BINGHAMTON, NY - The Broome County Department of Public Works announced today that a portion of Edson Road, in the Town of Windsor will be closed to all traffic for a culvert replacement project beginning Monday, August 30th at 7:00 a.m. It is anticipated that the road will reopen on Monday, September 6th at 3:30 p.m. Local traffic may continue to use Edson Road except during the time noted.

The culvert is located approximately 0.15 miles west of the NYS Route 79 intersection with Edson Road and 0.70 miles east of the White Birch Lake Road intersection with Edson Road. A detour will be signed utilizing White Birch Lake Road and NYS Route 79. For additional information please contact the Broome County Department of Public Works at 607.778.2909.
