EMC Plans Riverbank Clean-Up

The Environmental Management Council (EMC) will sponsor its 15th Riverbank Clean-Up on Saturday, October 7, from 9 a.m. till 12 noon. Groups of volunteers are needed to help collect trash and debris along Broome County's rivers and waterways. Volunteers will meet at their chosen site at 9 a.m. and work for 3 hours, rain or shine. Trash bags will be provided. The EMC's Riverbank Clean-Up is once again part of the International River and Coastal Cleanup program.
