Training Opportunities Available For Youth Workers
BINGHAMTON, NY - The Broome County Youth Bureau, Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Children and Youth Services Council will be offering training to youth workers on advancing youth development. The sessions will focus on enhancing youth workers skills in guiding and influencing adolescent development in a positive manner.
The 28-hour training will be conducted on Tuesday's and Thursday's in October from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County, 840 Front Street Binghamton, NY 13905; the cost of the course is $25.00 per person. Registration deadline is Tuesday, September 30th, and is limited to 3 persons per agency, with a maximum class size of 25. Attendance is required at all 7 classes.
