Broome-Tioga Public Auction To Be Held Sunday, October 10th

BINGHAMTON, NY - On Sunday, October 10, 2004, the Broome-Tioga Public Auction will be held at Grippen Park, South Grippen Avenue, Endicott, New York, for the sale of used, surplus and not needed supplies, materials, and equipment, including cars, trucks, heavy equipment, bicycles, typewriters, computers, etc., from Broome County Government, Tioga County Government and participating political subdivisions and school districts. All items will be sold in an as is-where is condition with all faults, with no express or implied warranties. All items sold are to be removed immediately after the auction. The auctioneer will release titles to vehicles when the buyer's check has cleared. Photo identification must be provided, upon request to the auctioneer for those wishing to register as bidders. Bidders should note that most outdoor items and some indoor items were flood damaged during the 'flash flood' of September 18, 2004.

Public inspection of auction items and the registration of bidders will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 10th. The vehicle and equipment portion of the Auction (outside of the rink) will start at 12:00 NOON. The non-vehicle portion of the Auction (inside the rink) for bicycles, office supplies and miscellaneous items will begin at approximately 1:00 p.m.
