Caring for the Community

"Caring for the Community" is the theme at the December 19th Holiday Celebrations at the Broome County Office for Aging Senior Centers. Volunteers at each of the senior centers have come together to reach out and help the community in various ways. As part of our holiday celebration on December 19 (December 20 for Deposit Senior Center) the centers will feature and share what acts of kindness and community service projects that have been accomplished. Each center will receive a Certificate of Recognition that will be presented at approximately 11:30 a.m.

The public is invited to come to one of our local centers and be a part of "Caring for the Community." A special holiday luncheon will be served at or around 12:00 p.m. People wishing to stay for lunch need to make lunch reservations 24 hours in advance by calling the Office for Aging at 607.778.2134 for the senior center's telephone number in your area.

"Caring for the Community" Projects are listed on the attached sheet.
