Steps to a HealthierNY Program Touts Healthier Environment Project
BINGHAMTON, NY - In celebration of Public Health Week, April 7-13, the Broome County Health Department's Steps to a HealthierNY program and its partners will showcase a built environment project at Confluence Park in the City of Binghamton. The project is the result of an award received by the City of Binghamton last year from the Steps to a HealthierNY program and United Health Services Stay Healthy Center as part of an initiative to reduce the burden of obesity in Broome County.
