Binghamton Historic Bridge Pedal
REGISTER NOW to join the family fun with a police-escorted bike tour around the downtown Binghamton area.
BINGHAMTON, NY - Registration is now open at local bike shops for the 3rd annual Binghamton Historic Bridge Pedal. A list of participating bike shops is available at www.bmtsonline.com.
Pre-registration is $2, and day of event registration is from 8am to 9am with a $3 fee.
A wrist band and a ride map with information about historical sites will be given to participants upon registration.
The Binghamton Historic Bridge Pedal is a 7 mile bicycle ride starting and finishing at the South Washington Street Bridge. Pedal alongside the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers, across landmark bridges and see historic sites. Riders will be in one group and staying together throughout the event.
There will be three stops along the ride route where tour guides from the Preservation Association of the Southern Tier (PAST) will speak about these special historic bridges as well as other Binghamton landmark places.
This event will take place rain or shine.
