"Tour of the World" Month
Every Wednesday in September at participating senior centers. Get Worldly and every Wednesday "Tour the World" with a variety of special events and special meals that will represent different countries. On September 3 you can take a trip to the islands and enjoy "Pacific Paradise",On September 10 grab your best mate and head to the Outback with an "Australian Barbie",On September 17 be ready to celebrate with a "German Oktoberfest",On- September 24 prepare yourself for a "Nordic Adventure." Take a tour to the senior center of your choice or tour a different center each week and enjoy a variety of festivities along with extra special lunches.- See the announcements section of this site for exact menus.Lunch reservations are needed and can be made by calling the senior center of your choice by noon at least one-day in advance. Center phone numbers can also be found in the Senior News and on the Senior Center portion of this site.Lunch is $2.50 for people 60 and older and their spouse; and $3.50 for people under age 60."Tour of the World" Month Flyer
