What is the W.E.R.C. Pass Program?
The W.E.R.C. Pass Program is part of a grant awarded to B.C. Transit to provide working parents who meet certain income criteria with a free bus pass. The bus pass can be used on any of our B.C. Transit Buses to help working parents travel to work, school, daycare, shopping or other places around our community where you go, after all, WE GO WHERE YOU GO!

How do I qualify?
There are four basic requirements:

  1. You must be employed; and,
  2. You must be a parent of child(ren) under age 18, or under the age of 19 if the child is attending secondary school; and,
  3. Your taxable earned income must be within the 200% income criteria; and,
  4. You must be U.S. citizen or an eligible legal alien.

How do I enroll in the W.E.R.C. Pass Program?
For comments, questions or to apply, call 607.778.6515 or email . You will be asked to schedule an appointment with our Mobility Manager. Before receiving your pass, you will be asked to complete an application (Form LDSS-4726).

Non-custodial parents may also qualify. In addition to completing the application, non-custodial parents must complete the "Non-Custodial Parent Information Referral (Form LDSS-4728)." This form will be passed along to the local Child Support Unit.
