Working Employed Parents Ride Cost-free

The W.E.R.C. Pass Program is special program to provide working parents with minor dependents with a free bus pass to help them retain their job. The bus pass can be used on any of our B.C. Transit Fixed Route Buses to help working parents travel to work, school, daycare, shopping or other places around our community where you go, after all, WE GO WHERE YOU GO!
How do I qualify?
There are four basic requirements:
- You must be employed; and,
- You must be a parent of child(ren) under age 18, or under the age of 19 if the child is attending secondary school; and,
- Your taxable earned income must be within the 200% income criteria; and,
- You must be U.S. citizen or an eligible legal alien.
How do I enroll in the W.E.R.C. Pass Program?
- You must complete the TANF Services Application (Form LDSS-4726).
- If you do not have custody of your children, you must complete the Non-Custodial Parent Information Referral (Form LDSS-4728)."
- Please provide your most recent paystub or other information to verify you are currently employed.
- All participants are required to read and sign the letter of agreement regarding proper use of the bus pass.
