Greater Binghamton Transportation Center Information

Located at 81 Chenango St, Binghamton NY, the Greater Binghamton Transportation Center provides access to local, regional, interstate, and international bus carriers.

BC Transit Buses

BC Transit is owned and operated by Broome County Government and is the public transportation provider serving Broome County.   BC Transit buses are located at the southwest corner of the Greater Binghamton Transportation Center near Henry St and Prospect Ave.  This section is known as the BC Junction.  At the BC Junction office you can obtain schedule information, buy bus passes and learn more about riding BC Transit.

Buses depart the BC Junction at various times throughout the day.  Fare is $1.50.  Transfers are free.  Cash is accepted on the buses.  More information about fares can be found here.

3 Park Ave 

Route highlights include Binghamton's southside neighborhood, Woodburn Court, UHS Binghamton General Hospital, Ross Park Zoo and the Discovery Center

5 Vestal Ave

Route highlights include Government Plaza, Binghamton's southside neighborhood, MacArthur Elementary School, University Plaza, Binghamton University

7 Clinton St

Route highlights include Bridgewater Rehabilitation (outbound only), Workforce NY (outbound only), Antique Row, Johnson City Walmart, dowtown Johnson City (see schedule) and the Oakdale Mall (see schedule)

8 Front St

Route highlights include service to Bridgewater Rehabilitation, Workforce NY, Broome Community College, Northgate Plaza, Staples Plaza, Lowes.

12 Conklin Ave

Route highlights include service to the Broome County Library, Benjamin Franklin Elementary, Saratoga Apartments.

15 Leroy St/SUNY

Route highlights include service to Recreation Park, West Middle School, Thomas Jefferson Elementary, Floral Park, Elmira Business Institute, Binghamton University.

23 Riverside Dr 

Route highlights include service to Woodburn Court, Lourdes Hospital, Davis College, Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center,  Riverside Plaza. 

28 Robinson St

Route highlights include service to Binghamton's eastside's neighborhoods, Carlisle Apts and Greater Binghamton Healthcare Center

35 Endicott-Binghamton

Route highlights include service to Boscov's, Main St (Binghamton, Johnson City, Endwell, Endicott), Wilson Hospital, Oakdale Mall.  Please note: If traveling to/from the Endwell area buses alternate trips between Main St, and Watson Blvd/Country Club Rd. 

40 Chenango St

Route highlights include service to Binghamton Plaza, Chenango St, Otsiningo Park, Port Dickinson, Hillcrest, Chenango Bridge. 

48 Main St

Route highlights include service to Boscov's, Main St (Binghamton, Johnson City), Wilson Hospital, Oakdale Mall.

51 K Commuter

Route highlights include service to Broome Industrial Park, Frito Lay, Willow Run Foods, Pilot Truck Stop.

53 Broome Corporate Park

Route highlights include service to Broome Corporate Park, Susquehanna Valley Schools, Team World, Eureka Tent. 

57 Shoppers Special

Route highlights include Binghamton University, Vestal Parkway, Town Square Mall, and Oakdale Mall.

Taxi Services

Taxis are available with service to and from the intermodal, and are are often available on Chenango St near the front side of the terminal.   Taxi services are regulated by Broome County Government.   More about available taxis and contact information can be found here.
